Guarantee

In the unlikely event that your engine should become defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within 12,000 miles or 12 months from the date of purchase, whichever is soonest, we guarantee to replace either the unit or all defective parts free of charge at our discretion.

The following terms apply:

• The engine must, as soon as practicable, be returned to us for examination and for any necessary repair or replacement. Proof of the purchase and stamped service record must be provided within the terms of this guarantee, this is the responsibility of the customer.
• The engine must not have been subject to misuse i.e. overheating, neglect, modifications, repairs.
• The re-manufacturer shall not be responsible for payment for any work done or materials supplied otherwise than with its previous written consent.
• We shall not be liable under this guarantee for any fault in the engine arising from the installation or use of any defective service part.
• In the event of warranty claims, customers must understand that if the vehicle is over the mileage or time stated between service intervals, they may be refused any warranty.
• This guarantee does not cover recovery or third-party costs.
• No variation or modification of the terms of this guarantee shall be valid or binding unless in writing, signed by a Director.
• The owner is responsible for the cost of maintenance items, including but not limited to, antifreeze, filters, elements, and belts replaced during guarantee repairs.
• After 500 miles the following checks must be made; change oil and oil filter, adjust tappets, check contact points, readjust ignition timing, check cooling system, if necessary, re-adjust carburettor. A 500-mile service MUST be adhered to or this guarantee is void.
• That throughout the period of this guarantee the owner shall maintain and service the vehicle in accordance with the original manufacturer’s recommendations.

Warranty

• Same conditions as set out in the Guarantee.
• Vehicle serviced twice a year for 2 years with Elite Engines in order to qualify for our 2 year or 24,000-mile warranty.
• Proof of purchase required.
